Player Ratings: AC Milan 1-1 Reggina

AC MILAN

Abbiati: 6.0- Did not have much to do between the posts tonight and did all that was asked of him when called upon.

Jankulovski: 6.0- Might just be the best left-back in Serie A at the moment but did not show his true colours tonight.

Bonera: 6.0- Will be disappointed that he picked up a yellow card that will force him to miss the derby next week

Maldini: 6.5- The classy old warhorse put in another solid performance and commanded the back four with supreme confidence.

Zambrotta: 6.0- He was called up for the glamour friendly against Brazil next week and responded with a decent but unspectacular performance.

Flamini: 7.0- Made a rare start due to Pirlo’s suspension and had one of his best matches since moving to Milan last summer.

Ambrosini: 5.0- The big lumbering midfielder looked uncomfortable on the left-hand side and a failed attempt to win a penalty was his only contribution of the evening before he was mercifully substituted.

Beckham: 7.0- Put his heart and soul into the match and sent a countless number of his signature crosses into the box tonight.

Ronaldinho: 6.5- He made his first start in five games and he showed flashes of his old brilliance but was not able to last all 90 minutes.

Kaka: 6.0- Made a couple of his famous runs and took his penalty calmly and coolly before limping off in the 77th minute.

Pato: 6.5- The Brazilian starlet looked like he was heading for an off-night in the first half but managed to have a good second 45 minutes and won the crucial penalty that salvaged the draw.

SUBS: Seedorf (55”) 6.5, Inzaghi (64”) 6.0, Antonini (77”) 6.0

REGGINA

Campagnolo: 7.0- Made a string of saves in the first half to keep his team in the match but had no chance on the penalty shot.

Santos: 7.0- He showed good assurance at the back tonight and did an admirable job keeping Pato and Kaka in check.

Lanzaro: 7.0- He was calm and composed at the back tonight despite the relentless Milan pressure especially in the second half.

Valdez: 7.0- Was a tower of power on the back line and did his coach proud tonight.

Barilla: 6.5- Worked his socks off and won a plethora of challenges in the midfield.

Carmona: 6.0- The diminutive Chilean international was his pesky self tonight and added another dimension when he pushed forward.

Cozza: 6.0- The Calabrese-born midfielder earned his pay-cheque with a gutsy performance tonight.

Costa: 6.0- Will be left black and blue after his clashes with Flamini and Ambrosini in the midfield.

Krajcik: 5.0- Made a bonehead decision to bring down Pato in the penalty area and was punished when Kaka scored from the penalty spot.

Corradi: 6.5- The sly veteran used all of his guile this evening and almost won the match in the fifth minute of injury time

Di Gennaro: 7.5- The former Milan youth product came back to haunt his former side with a well taken goal in the first half and was a real nuisance until he was surprisingly substituted off.
